There are two official entry years at Sacred Heart - Kindergarten and Year 7.
Applications for enrolment can be submitted at any time throughout the year although families may like to keep the following in mind if completing an application for either of these entry points:
KINDERGARTEN
- The enrolment process for Kindergarten begins one year prior to entry (when children are aged 4, turning 5 in their Kinder year).
- Enrolment applications are required by the end of April
- Enrolment interviews and offers of a place are completed during Term 2.
YEAR 7
- Our enrolment process for Year 7 commences early in the year prior to entry (when the student is in Year 6).
- Enrolment applications are required by mid March but can be made at any time through our Online Enrolment Application
- Enrolment interviews and offers of a place are made during Term Two of that year (when the student is in Year 6 ).
Enrolments are accepted at other year levels. Applications are placed on a waiting list and families contacted if/when a vacancy arises.
YEAR 11
Sacred Heart College students are guaranteed a place at Guilford Young College (GYC) where students can continue their Catholic education for Years 11 and 12.
Students visit GYC campuses, attend introductory events and meet with GYC subject counsellors throughout Year 10 to facilitate the enrolment process and assist with subject choices.
